My first, bonafide “bande dessinée” or graphic novel is due to be out in the Springtime of 2008. It will be “Nuit de Fureur” -- a french-language adaptation of Jim Thompson’s dark, strange novel Savage Night, written in the early 1950’s.  Alexis Nolent did the adaptation and Casterman will publish the book in a new partnership with Rivages-Noir.

Below are also some of the pages from another graphic novel I’ve been working on with writer Marc Villard : Fat Billy, a collection of tales that takes place in a depression-era traveling circus.  Fat Billy was awarded a grant from the Centre National du Livre.  Marc and I art still looking for the right publisher...
