I just returned from the beautiful hill town of Solliès-Ville in the Var region of France, where the annual Comics Festival attracts authors from around the world every year at the end of August. I was surprised and delighted to learn that "The Lottery" had been awarded the Festival's landmark trophy (designed by Enki Bilal !) for "Best Adult Graphic Novel". The image "East River Express", originally featured in Glénat's book "Miles Hyman, Drawings" (2015), has won CA's Award of Excellence and was included in their 2016 Illustration Annual. I'm proud the share the prize with the outstanding Carole Schilling Design!
